Atlas Copco Compressors LLC offers different skill paths for manufacturing and quality roles:
1) Air Compressor Technician Course 1
2) Air Compressor Technician Course 2
3) Air Compressor Technician Course 3
4) Accelerated Air Compressor Technician for Mechatronics Completers
There are three job roles available, each with different skills requirements: 1) Service Technician Trainee, 2) Junior Service Technician & 3) Service Technician. The depth and length of the training curriculum varies by job role.
As an Apprentice Service Technician, you are responsible for supporting and providing safe and high-quality service that is performed with great
efficiency to our customers. You will be close to your customers and service our products to provide a great customer experience.
You will perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers (regenerative and refrigerated), drains, controllers, low pressure blowers. As an apprentice service technician, you will attend training at our Air Academy as well as train with Senior Service Technicians. You will report to the Service Manager.
As a Service Technician, you will perform routine, preventative maintenance, and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment at customer sites and provide a complete solution for customers’ industrial equipment maintenance needs.
You will also troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameters of the equipment. As a service technician, you will document all work performed daily using company provided hardware and software. Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
As a Field Service Engineer, you are responsible to resolve technical problems related to Atlas Copco Compressors LLC oil-injected and oil-free air compressors and the controlling electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems at customer sites.
You will also perform routine, preventative maintenance, and repairs on air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment at customer sites and provide a complete solution for customers’ industrial equipment maintenance needs. As a field service engineer, you will direct and coordinate activities involved in application, installation, and repair of Atlas Copco Compressors LLC products and controlling electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. You will also review and analyze technical data relating to product design and specifications of Atlas Copco Compressors LLC products to diagnose, resolve, and troubleshoot technical problems.
