Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II, Virtual Lab, and Principles of Control Systems must certify you meet the following requirements

You must have the following experiences to do well in the Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II and Virtual Lab course:

• Basic equipment use, such as experience in a commercial or industrial environment
• Basic electrical background, such as electrical principles and theory
• Basic mechanical background such as the use of hand tools
• Desire to develop mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities
• Strong safety orientation
• Critical thinking skills

You must have the following experiences to do well in the Principles of Control Systems course:

• 2+ years of experience with Motor Controls (motor starts, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components) as well as troubleshooting/programming, including HMI components, Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs, and industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting.
• 1+ year of experience with repair of control network components.
• Some experience with robotic systems maintenance, including robots, tools, hydraulic systems, and teach pendants.
• SACA certification in a relevant area can be used as a substitute for some experience.

The Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II coursework is aligned with the MT2 role at Amazon and the Principles of Control Systems is aligned with a Controls Technician role, However, a job is not guaranteed. An online-on-demand course, also known as a self-paced course, allows learner to access and complete the course content at their own pace. There is no fixed schedule or set class times so you have the flexibility to study and learn on your own schedule.

The course includes videos, class recordings, PDFs, and presentations.

Fill out your information and create a password. You will receive a validation email with a 6 digit code. Enter the validation code when you go back to Unmudl.com. 

If you have not previously enrolled with us using Career Choice funding, You need to join the wait-list for your desired course until we are authorized to send your confirmation code for use on the Amazon Career Choice Dashboard.

Previous or current Unmudl learners can renew their Career Choice voucher for their desired course. Head to Career Choice.com to submit your renewed voucher request.

Depending on which course you choose you should plan on studying the course material 8-10 hours a week in order to complete the courses in 12-16 weeks.

You will have 6 months from the day of registration to complete the course before it expires. We anticipate the course to take no longer than 12-16 weeks to complete.

There is NO final exam.  You will be required to take quizzes throughout the course and will have 3 tries to achieve an 80% or higher. If you hit your 3-attempt limit and get less than 80%, please contact LearnerSupport@unmudl.com.

You need to access your account in Unmudl.Talentlms.com first then click on the link to the Mechatronics Course. You will then be linked to your account and be able to enter the activation code you received for the course. If the code is entered incorrectly you will not be able to access the material in Amatrol. Codes can be updated if needed, reach out to your learner coach Emily Albertsen for assistance.

No refunds IF you have already started the course or activated your course code. If you haven't activated the code or started, your refund will still be subject to service fees.

To start your refund, please follow these steps:

1. Go to "My enrollments" section of your user profile.
2. Click "Request Refund" which will open a request to the college.
3. Please allow 10-14 days for refund to appear on your credit card statement.

The Amatrol codes need to be entered very specifically. If the copy and paste and accidently included a blank space in front of the code or at the end of the code it would not be accepted.

You need at least an 80% on ALL quizzes throughout the course. You get 3 attempts for each quiz. If you hit your 3-attempt limit and don't get an 80%, please contact learnersupport@unmudl.com

The Virtual Lab Assessment test is an option for learners, who have already acquired the basic knowledge elsewhere, to test out of the Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II course prerequisite.

• While the two courses are aligned, there is zero repetition between the knowledge-focused Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II course and the new Level II Virtual Lab course  
• Virtual Lab builds on the knowledge base provided in the current Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II course to focus on skill development
• Length of the course for Virtual Lab is approximately 40 Hours, Mechatronics for Equipment Maintenance Level II course is approximately 80 hours.

If you have taken your final quiz and received a grade above the minimum passing grade, but you are still seeing the ‘No grade recorded.’ message on your Content Launch Window, you can try making the below adjustments to your Browser settings:

Within Chrome Settings, go to “Privacy and Security” then click “Cookies and other site data”:

Scroll down to the “Customized behaviors” section, under “Sites that can always use cookies” and add following: [*.]learnamatrol.com

2. Click on “Privacy & Security”.

3. Scroll down to “Cookies and Site Data” and click on the “Manage Exceptions” button.

With the certificate of completion, apply for the interview! As long as you complete the course with a score of 80% or more you will be eligible to interview with Amazon or any other company hiring Maintenance Technicians.
