About the Role:

As a CBRE Multi-skilled Technician, you will perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What You'll Do:

  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Use available systems to manage and track completion.
  • Support energy management efforts by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
  • Inspect new and existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations, and report violations to management.
  • Follow established procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
  • Perform work based on clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks.
  • Deliver results by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting or carrying loads of 50 pounds or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines, procedures, and standards.
  • Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
