Course Details
This course is best suited for Associates who have completed Level 1, but do not wish to go into an RMEO operator role, but prefer to go into the Amazon apprenticeship to pursue an MRA role. Successful completion of GEARS Levels 1 and Level 2 AND SACA 101 and 102 are required in order to be eligible for MRA roles.
GEARS Pre-Apprenticeship Training Level 2 builds on the skills developed in Level 1. The 80-hour course includes online content that learners complete independently and in-person hours to review, expand, and ask questions about this content. Learners will explore essential topics in advanced manufacturing and mechatronics, including topics in industrial safety, tools, print reading, mechanical systems, electrical systems, electronics, and industrial networks. Learners who successfully complete Levels 1 and 2 will have completed the coursework for the SACA credentials Certified Industry 4.0 Associate I and II.
The course includes online content that learners complete independently and in-person hours to review, expand, and ask questions about this content. The course is assessed on each learning module. Learners must achieve a score of 80% or higher in each final module quiz, and learners will have a maximum of three attempts to pass each quiz.
