Course Details

This course is best suited for Associates who have completed Levels 1 and 2, and have at least one year of mechanical/electrical experience and wish to pursue an MRT role. Please note that Amazon requires one year of mechanical/electrical experience in addition to GEARS: Levels 1, 2, and 3 in order to meet eligibility requirements for MRT roles.  

 

GEARS Pre-Apprenticeship Training Level 3 builds on the skills developed in Level 1 and Level 2. The 40-hour course includes online content that learners complete independently and in-person hours to review, expand, and ask questions about this content. The course includes online content that learners complete independently and in-person hours to review, expand, and ask questions about this content. Learners will apply what they have learned in Levels 1 and 2 through a focus on simulations, problem solving, and troubleshooting. They continue their focus on topics in advanced manufacturing and mechatronics including electrical systems, mechanical systems, fluid systems, industrial networking, and robots. Learners who successfully complete this course will have completed the coursework for the SACA microcredential Motor Control Troubleshooting 1. 

 

The course includes online content that learners complete independently and in-person hours to review, expand, and ask questions about this content. The course is assessed on each learning module. Learners must achieve a score of 80% or higher in each final module quiz, and learners will have a maximum of three attempts to pass each quiz.
