An Instrumentation and Control Technician is a skilled worker who connects, commissions, troubleshoots, and services instrumentation and control systems. They work with instrumentation systems, including pneumatic, electrical, and ethernet systems. They also have leadership and communication skills.


Instrumentation and Control Technicians can work in a variety of fields including manufacturing, HVAC, construction, and healthcare. An Instrumentation and Control Technician has strong troubleshooting skills and a good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. They are independent workers with the ability to think critically, analyze, diagnose, and solve problems.
