Course Details

Launch your career as an Instrumentation and Control Technician. Build job-ready skills for an in-demand career with Amazon and other employers and earn a certificate. Experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.

This 40-hour, self-paced online course is the third course in the Instrumentation and Controls Technician Skill Path. Develop your skills with formal learning and hands-on virtual simulations. The skill path gives a strong foundation in technical skills, industrial communication networks, and leadership and communication and aligns with the coursework for multiple SACA micro-credentials.

This virtual lab focuses on troubleshooting, problem solving, and applied knowledge through virtual simulations.

What You'll Learn

1. Demonstrate an understanding of safety and be ready to apply safe practices to the workplace. 2. Describe the set-up, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial communication networks such as PROFIBUS and AS-i. 3. Describe and perform the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and factory systems.
