Get Back into Practice with the Nurse Refresher Program

This Nurse Refresher Theory class focuses on current nursing practice as related to the clinical area of medical-surgical nursing care and is designed to meet the educational needs of nurses who have been out of the clinical setting and desire to re-enter the clinical workplace.

This class provides the content necessary to renew your NM nursing license, when taken in conjunction with a clinical practicum. If you are outside NM check with your BON (Board of Nursing) to see if this course may be applicable for you. 

This online theory class is followed by a 72-84 hour clinical practicum that meets the requirement of the New Mexico BON nurse refresher criteria. The clinical practicum should be performed within four weeks of completion of the online class but no later than 6 months of the temporary license issuance.

CNM Ingenuity is designated as a Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) Eligible Training Provider (ETP) in the Central Region of New Mexico.
