From High School Dropout to Intel Intern: Alex Dickey's Journey with Unmudl

Alex Dickey
Intern at Intel
"My education journey hasn’t been typical. I was a high school dropout, but now I’m pursuing a skilled career in mechatronics with an internship at Intel," says Dickey. "I made a mistake, but then I went back. And I realized, all right, this is the right move."

Through Unmudl’s skills-based learning program, Dickey earned his high school diploma and began studying mechatronics, learning how to manage the technology and automation that’s reshaping manufacturing.

"Training through Unmudl helped me land my internship at Intel, and I hope to go full-time with them while continuing to expand my skills in mechatronics," Dickey shares. "My goal is to eventually earn a master’s degree in the field."
