EarTuff is a manufacturer and hearing conservation solutions company based in Athens, Georgia, focused on helping manufacturers protect their workforce while maintaining operational efficiency and OSHA compliance. As a member of the Georgia Association of Manufacturers, EarTuff partners directly with industrial organizations to deliver a complete, turnkey approach to hearing conservation.
EarTuff’s services include OSHA-compliant noise surveys, annual audiometric testing, employee training, and the implementation of custom-molded hearing protection. Their custom ear protection is designed for maximum comfort, communication, and long-term use—eliminating the inefficiencies and waste associated with disposable earplugs.
Rather than simply providing a product, EarTuff acts as a one-stop partner, managing and improving hearing conservation programs to reduce risk, enhance safety culture, and support workforce performance across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audiometric (hearing) testing in accordance with OSHA standards
- Perform 3D ear scans for custom hearing protection devices
- Set up, operate, and break down mobile testing equipment at job sites
- Educate employees on proper hearing protection and hearing health
- Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
- Ensure all services are delivered efficiently with minimal disruption to operations
- Represent EarTuff professionally in all client-facing interactions
- Support additional services such as sound surveys and training sessions as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
- Comfortable working in industrial/manufacturing environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including early mornings
- Self-starter with a high level of accountability and professionalism
Preferred (not required):
- Military experience
- Background in safety, medical, or technical fields
- Experience in OSHA compliance or industrial operations
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and transport equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in various industrial environments (noise, PPE required)
Work Environment
- Primarily on-site at manufacturing and industrial facilities
- Fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Travel required (local and regional)
