About the Role:

As a CBRE Material Handling Equipment Control Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the production and distribution of products, documenting materials and supplies, and preparing finished products for incoming shipments.

This job is part of the Material Handling job function. They are responsible for the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts.

What You'll Do:
  • Use automation systems to manage inventory.
  • Contact suppliers to request appropriate certifications.
  • Forecast and source of raw material purchases based on the production plan and schedule. Review and place purchasing requisitions based on business needs. Generate accurate and timely invoices.
  • Advise equipment control manager of necessary changes to the system to facilitate better functioning and reduction in overall cost.
  • Pick and confirm medical equipment for other technology companies. Ensure that the equipment and facilities adhere to all OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Verify that the traveler and bill of materials are correct, and assist in any material discrepancy activities.
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.
  • Develop a new and efficient method to measure the weight of pallets that left and enter the facility.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You'll Need:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver's License, required.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
