Description
Help drive a world-class safety culture at Kia Georgia. In this role, you'll partner with leaders across the plant to identify risks, strengthen safety programs, and ensure a safe, compliant, and productive work environment for all team members.
What You'll Do
- Lead risk assessments and safety audits to proactively identify and reduce workplace hazards.
- Support and enforce OSHA compliance and corporate safety regulations across manufacturing operations.
- Provide expertise in electrical safety, equipment reviews, and process changes to prevent incidents before they occur.
- Conduct incident investigations, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging safety training for employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Partner with production leadership to improve safety performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering, Ergonomics, or a related field
- 4+ years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
- Experience with risk assessment, incident investigation, OSHA compliance, and contractor safety management.
- Strong communication, training, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- ASP, CSP, OSHT, or CHST certifications are a plus.
