What You’ll Do:

  • CNC Operation: Set up and run full production cycles on CNC Lathe, Mill, and VTL machines for turning, milling, drilling, and tapping operations
  • Optimize Performance: Reduce setup times, maintain offsets, and maximize machine utilization for improved productivity.
  • Interpret Blueprints: Read and understand technical drawings, Bill of materials and routing instructions.
  • Troubleshoot Programs: Diagnose and adjust CNC programs as needed.
  • Inspect Parts: Perform in-process inspections and report any non-conformance issues promptly.
  • Collaborate: Communicate with supervisors, managers, production control, and quality teams to resolve issues and align on production needs.
  • Ensure Safety: Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE throughout your shift.
  • Document Work: Record shift activities and issues for smooth handoffs.
  • Maintain Equipment: Conduct daily preventive maintenance checks and log findings.

What You'll Bring:

  • Measurement Skills: Proficiency with calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Math Ability: Strong basic math skills.
  • Documentation: Accurate record-keeping of machining processes.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with metals, fixtures, lathe/mill tooling, and FANUC controllers.
  • Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience with Doosan or Mori Lathe/VTL/Mill machines.
  • Communication: Ability to read, comprehend, and complete reports in English.
  • Physical Capability: Comfortable lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning heavy components.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and adherence to company policies.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and stand for the entire shift.
  • Learning Mindset: Eagerness to learn and grow new skills.
  • Team Player: Strong collaboration and positive attitude.
