Duties and Responsibilities
· Conduct inspections of premises and equipment to plan maintenance/engineering tasks throughout the facility.
· Prepare maintenance schedules, perform and allocate work.
· Coordinate and conduct daily maintenance activities.
· Supervise and train workers.
· Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed correctly and on time.
· Assign and perform preventative maintenance work.
· Troubleshoot equipment for repairs and/or preventative maintenance.
· Assign and perform routine maintenance of equipment, lubrication, belts, pulleys, etc.
· Assist in the collection of equipment details to establish parts lists.
· Work with other maintenance team members to compete projects in a timely basis.
· Establish strategies to meet maintenance demands.
Skills and Specifications
· Should be willing to work in shifts
· Must be able to work as part of a team
· Must be able to read and comprehend manuals and written or verbal instructions
· Good hand-eye coordination
· Must have sufficient physical reflexes and personal well paced mobility to perform the job
· Must have the physical ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, push, pull, walk and lift up to 25lbs repeatedly, for a long period of time during your shift
· Mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical skills and knowledge in an industrial environment
· Ability to understand and make key adjustments to production equipment
Education and Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent, advanced training in industrial maintenance preferred.
· 2 years’ experience as Maintenance Supervisor.
· Prior industrial maintenance experience, strong knowledge of maintenance procedures.
· Mechanical, electrical, welding training preferred.
· Excellent attention to details.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
· Time management skills.
· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
