Role Overview
The Quality Engineering Supervisor leads a team focused on inspection, testing, and continuous improvement to ensure Hoshizaki products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. This role is critical in preventing defects, driving root-cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions across the manufacturing process. By guiding quality initiatives from suppliers to customers, the supervisor safeguards product integrity and supports operational excellence.
Location : 101 Green Valley Blvd, Griffin, GA 30224
Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM Occasional Fridays required

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators
- Supervise quality inspectors and ensure all testing and inspection procedures are followed.
- Analyze defects, VOC feedback, and production data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
- Develop or refine testing methods, inspection tools, and quality processes to prevent recurring issues.
- Coordinate with suppliers on quality deviations and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical data to support accurate inspections and root-cause analysis.
- Reduction of defects and achievement of targeted Corrective Requests (CRs).
- Timely completion of assigned internal defect-reduction projects.
- Team performance and KPI achievement rates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or related Engineering field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing quality control, engineering, or a similar technical environment.
- Supervisory or team-lead experience in engineering or quality roles.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
- Proficient computer skills, including Excel, charts, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with quality tools and processes (8D problem solving, defect analysis).
- Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, VSM).
- Skilled in using inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc.).
- Confident, personable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal fabrication or commercial equipment manufacturing environments.
- Prior experience improving or developing testing and inspection methods.
- Background working with suppliers on quality deviations and corrective actions.
- Continuous improvement mindset with ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving discussions.

Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $[79,000]–$[105,000] annually. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
