Additional Attendance Information

On-Campus, In Person Classes

Per the Pfizer vaccine receiving Food and Drug Administration approval, all SUNY students with an on-campus presence, including non-credit continuing education students/participants, are required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as announced by SUNY on August 23, 2021.

To attend in-person, on-campus programming, all individuals over the age of 16 must be fully vaccinated at the start of their first course. "Fully Vaccinated" means an individual has received both doses of a two- dose COVID-19 vaccine or one dose of a single-dose vaccine and at least 14 days have passed since the individual's final dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Participants will be required to attest to their vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination prior to the start of the course. This information will be uploaded into the SUNY vaccine portal.

Upon registration, participants will be emailed a digital form to use to submit their vaccination proof. If you are unable to upload your documentation, please provide a copy directly to the Continuing Education office or email to workforce@sunybroome.edu

Participants are required to attest to their vaccination status at least 5 business days prior to the start of the course (or at the time of registration if less than 5 days prior to the course), and if they do not, they will be deregistered and refunded.

No refunds will be given less than 5 business days before the start of the course (per our current refund policy).

All participants are also required to wear a mask indoors at all times.
