Course Details

This course will introduce students to Microsoft Office Outlook, as well as teach them about formatting messages, working with attachments and illustrations, customizing message options, organizing messages, managing your contacts, working with the calendar, and working with tasks and notes. 

After This Course, You Will Be Able To
  1. Log in to Outlook, navigate its interface, perform basic email functions, and utilize the “Help” feature.
  2. Create email messages, check them for spelling and grammar problems, format them properly, attach files and items, and apply enhancements to make emails appropriate for a given workplace or scenario.
  3. Explore and apply Outlook’s customizable reading options, download and manage attachments, and manage message responses. 
  4. Use Outlook’s tags, flag, folders, and other features to manage messages.
  5. Access the Outlook calendar and use it to manage meetings and appointments. 
  6. Create, update, view, and organize contacts.
  7. Manage tasks and notes in Outlook.
  8. Customize their Outlook environment to suit their personal or professional needs.
