Discover the Internet of Things (IoT) and how to use Azure to develop IoT solutions.
Get an introduction to IoT, discuss the industry verticals that benefit from IoT and the business goals they pursue. Learn about the standards, security, and architectural concepts used in today’s IoT solutions.
With a general understanding of the IoT landscape, you will then begin implementing a simulated IoT solution using Raspberry Pi device and Microsoft Azure services. Learn how to implement and configure an IoT device to connect to the cloud and send sample data. You will also learn to configure cloud services to store, analyze, and visualize the data.
- Describe IoT and in what business scenarios it provides value
- Define the architectural components of an IoT solution
- Implement simulated IoT device that connects to the cloud and sends simulated data
- Deploy and configure Microsoft Azure services to collect IoT data
- Analyze collected data using Microsoft Azure services
