Fast Track to Adv. Manufacturing Automated Industrial Technology

The Advanced Manufacturing Automated Industrial Technology Fast Track consists of four courses. UAIT-105 Maintenance Operations, UBCT 110 OSHA 10 General Industrial Safety, and UPHI-149 Critical Thinking are online courses. On the start date of your course, login to your MyPima account and click "Access D2L" under QuickLinks.

UAIT-125 Electrical Systems will meet in person at the Downtown Campus in the ST building. This course is an overview of the area of maintenance operations of a manufacturing facility.  Includes preparation to sit for the NIMS Duty Area 1: Maintenance Operations Certification Exam

Course Fees are inclusive of text, laboratory materials and certification tests (NCCER Core Certification and emphasis in respective discipline.)

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:

1. Perform machine operation including startup, emergency, and normal shutdown and manual functions.
2. Monitor machine operation and verify that performance meets safety, production, and maintenance requirements.
3. Locate, interpret, and store machine operation and maintenance documentation.
4. Perform planned and unscheduled machine maintenance procedures in accordance with a company-approved maintenance plan.
5. Perform a preventative maintenance procedure for a given machine to extend machine life and minimize downtime.
