Become a Project Management Professional
This three course series provides you with an in-depth knowledge of Project Management and Budgeting Resources. Together these will provide you with the skills to become a professional Project Manger and the knowledge necessary to earn your Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) certification, which is a nationally recognized documentation of the fundamental knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management.
Courses include:
- Project Management Fundamentals
- Budget and Resource Management
- Project Management Applications
Courses can be taken together or separately. All three courses are recommended but not required to gain the background knowledge necessary for the CAPM, but a minimum of 23 hours of Project Management Education is required to sit for the exam.
After This Course, You Will Be Able ToProject Management fundamentals including:
- Project management in theory and practice
- The role of project managers
- “Hard” and “soft” techniques of project management.
Budget and Resource Management tools including:
- Earned value method and resource allocation
- Strategies used to effectively monitor, measure and control cost
- How to apply effective methods for keeping the project budget and schedule on target
Project Management Applications, including:
- Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) to managing projects, schedules, labor, and resources
- Fundamental knowledge, terminology and processes of effective project management
