The best way to prepare for the NM Real Estate Broker's Exam

This Real Estate Prelicensure series is comprised of three, thirty-hour courses that together fulfill the education requirements necessary to apply to take the New Mexico Real Estate Broker’s Examination. 

The series is developed specifically for NM but there is some reciprocity with other states so it is worth checking your specific state requirements if you are outside NM.

The courses can be taken simultaneously or spread out, but all courses must have been completed within the three years prior to application to take the exam.

• Broker Basics
• Real Estate Law
• Real Estate Principles & Practice

• Broker Basics covers the establishment of a real estate office, agency relationships and law, signage, brokers’ duties, trade names, listing and purchasing agreements, common forms, property management, and trusteeship/trust accounts. This ten-week class is currently only being offered online.
• Real Estate Law focuses on the fiduciary relationship between real estate agent and client, ownership rights, law of agency, and law of contracts. This is a ten-week online class
• Real Estate Principles & Practice covers the real estate market, real property ownership and interest, deeds and descriptions, property transfer, contracts, finance, and appraising. This is a ten-week online class
