Accessibility has moved to the forefront of concerns for educators.  Learn how to ensure web-enhanced, hybrid,  and online course material accessibility as well as how to identify disability services, policies, and resources. Join us to gain timely insights into universal design fundamentals and access to valuable resources!

After This Course, You Will Be Able To

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain the challenges learners with various disabilities experience when accessing web-enhanced, hybrid, or online course materials
  • Identify disability services, policies, and resources
  • Develop documents that promote readability and universal design
  • Develop multimedia materials including video, audio, and images that promote accessibility (e.g., alt text, captioning, transcripts)
  • Evaluate documents, software, and websites for accessibility
