In this four-part, interactive Management/Leadership Development series you will learn the fundamental and essential steps to improve your management and leadership skills, decrease your employee challenges, improve your sleep, and take your career to the next level!

Module 1 – Know Thyself

In this first module, we’ll begin with an essential question – What are your management and leadership theories, tactics, behaviors and beliefs that you use to lead your department? This module will examine your fundamental beliefs about leadership and your staff. This self-examination will set you on a path to better address the staff that you lead and start 2021 off right!

Module 2 – Mastering Management

In this module you will learn the basic tasks and essential goals of management. This foundational understanding will help you to clearly organize the tasks and goals of your department for the success of your team and your career.

Module 3 – Leading Your Team

In this module, you’ll learn how leadership is uniquely different from management. This will position you to use the appropriate skills and behaviors that will enable you to build a loyal, motivated team that contributes to a positive culture with improved productivity, decreased turnover and high employee satisfaction scores!

Module 4 – Sending the Message

How are your communication skills? Good intentions don’t guarantee great results! When managing and leading people, you must learn and use excellent communication skills so your goals and directions are delivered clearly and your staff feel listened to, valued, and confident! In this final session, you’ll learn essential communication tools so your team will be motivated, committed, empowered, and happy to be working for you!

This class will be online through Zoom. You will receive a Zoom invitation prior to class. You must have Zoom downloaded on your computer and have a webcam, audio (microphone) and internet to take this class.
