Course Details

Create worksheets to manage, store, organize, and analyze this information. Excel, Microsoft's powerful spreadsheet software, is the most widely-used program to handle this task. In fact, most workplaces require that new employees have a basic level of understanding of Microsoft Excel. This course will introduce you to the 2019 version of Microsoft Excel's basic functions and uses. Through hands-on lessons, you will learn numerous shortcuts to quickly and efficiently set up worksheets. You will also learn how to use the function wizard to calculate statistics, future values, and more. In addition, you will get tips on sorting and analyzing data, creating three-dimensional workbooks, and automating frequently-repeated tasks with macros and buttons.

Software Requirements: PC: Windows 10 or later operating system.  Latest  broser version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are preferred. Microsoft Edge is also compatible. Microsoft Excel software, Acrobate Reader.  

After This Course, You Will Be Able To
  1. Explore the Excel interface
  2. Create a worksheet
  3. Practice using shortcuts
  4. Explain relative, absolute, mixed and circular reference
  5. Build a table, subtotal, sort and filter
  6. Create a graph and adjust chart type, labels, titles, colors
  7. Personalize charts
  8. Perform statistical functions 
  9. Create an amortization table and practice financial functions
  10. Use macros to reduce complex tasks
  11. Use Excel's IF function to aid in comparing variables
