NISOD provides budget-friendly, high-quality, and faculty-focused programs and resources for community and technical colleges that want to make the most of their professional development dollars. For 45 years, NISOD has aligned a wide array of benefits with the needs of our members, which explains why the American Association of Community Colleges named NISOD, “The country’s leading provider of professional development for community college faculty, staff, and administrators.” NISOD serves community and technical colleges across North America and beyond by hosting conferences and workshops, developing web resources, producing publications, and collaborating on projects and initiatives for the improvement of our member colleges. To facilitate the sharing of best and promising practices that improve student achievement, NISOD invites community and technical college and other participation in our conferences, workshops, webinars, and publications. NISOD’s two annual conferences (one face-to-face and one virtual) have thousands of participants. Thousands of conference sessions and other resources are catalogued in NISOD’s user-friendly Resource Library. NISOD’s digital publications, written largely by and for practitioners, focus on successful strategies and practices involving student learning. Visit www.nisod.org for more information about these and other NISOD resources.
